Children’s Christmas Store

Questions & Answers

Text Box: Q:	What if my kids want to participate but I don’t have anything to donate?
Your kids, and I emphasize again, all children in the community, are very welcome to participate.  If you are unable to make a gift donation, then a nominal dollar contribution would be appreciated.  Dollar contributions will be used to buy further gifts for the children to purchase at a nominal cost and also for wrapping paper, tags, ribbons, etc. if they are required. Perhaps you are a “crafty” person and would like to donate something you have made.

Q:	What if there are 100 kids and not enough gifts?
That is why your donation is extremely important. I strongly encourage every parent to donate something, even if your children are in High School – the younger children within the community will benefit. Don’t forget to ask Grandma’s, Grandpa’s, Aunt’s, Uncles, etc. The “Gift Shop” will remain open until the gifts run out or until the end of the Store closes, whichever comes first.

Q:	What if I only donate a couple of gifts but have 3 kids?
All donations are appreciated, perhaps you also have gift-wrap, tissue paper, tape, tags, boxes, or bows lying around that could be contributed as well. Again, a $ contribution will also be greatly appreciated.

Q:	How much should we donate?
Whatever and however much you like, remember to donate something you would enjoy receiving as a gift.

Q:	How will I know if the gift I donate is for a Mom or a Dad?
Volunteers will designate where a gift is best placed.  Tables will be set up with the gifts separated "For Mom" and "For Dad" Volunteers will also be on hand to help the children with their purchases

Q:	Do I have to purchase a gift to donate? How can I help?
No, I am sure you have been given a gift that you would like to pass on to someone else. Something, anything, that is in great condition that you would love to share with someone else: wrong size of shirt, slippers, western books, notepads, thermal mugs, hats, tape measures, hammers, screwdrivers, calculators, wallets, key chains, coolers, pot holders, candles, perfume, pictures, bubble bath, coffee’s, tea’s, hot chocolates, chocolates, golf balls, etc.

Thank you in advance for your generosity ! You are playing a huge roll in the spirit of Christmas, please keep “Paying it Forward”.
